Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge entry - Theme: Anything Goes!

This week over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog, the theme is Anything Goes, which can feature Stampendous products if you have them and want to use them. I delved into my stamp collection and found these beautiful cardinal birds.

I wasn't sure how best to colour them, but decided on using my Spectrum Noir markers. The male cardinal was quite easy to do, all that stunning vibrant red! I used some purple on him too, to pick out his darker areas. The female was trickier, but I think she turned out ok :) I also highlighted some of the feathers with a gold Posca pen. We don't have cardinal birds in the UK, sadly. But we do have robins, who are very much our avian symbol of Winter and Christmas!

Still feels a little early to be making Christmas cards, but you gotta do, what you gotta do! It'll be upon us in no time!
